The body was found floating in the water on Monday, Nov. 1 on the 400 block of Front Street.
The male has been identified as Charles Loveland, 45, last known address in Gloucester City, Gloucester Township.
He was reported missing in Paulsboro by his family on Oct. 22.
Through a postmortem examination, the cause of death has been ruled a drowning. The manner of death is undetermined.
